Published Photography Books

Only two copies left!

Here we have a remarkable mountain, compared frequently to one of the world’s foremost, Mt Fuji, and the one chosen as a backdrop for the Samurai movie – but as far as Mt Taranaki goes, only handbooks and natural history treatments have been published.

My latest book is in softcovers, 21 x 22.5cm, with white wire binding. The first edition is just 50 copies, each signed – and only two are left! There are 76 pages, one image to a spread. It is entirely in colour, and shows the mountain in its landscape from a variety of viewpoints and times of the day (and night!). It will appeal to anyone with strong Taranaki associations – visitors and residents alike.

Price is $35, plus $2.50 postage within New Zealand or Australia.

The images are the harvest of many evenings out with my camera and tripod, usually under a bright, full moon. Each of the long exposures in the book is tailored with a hand-picked quote, variously poignant or provocative, to inspire folk who are awake and restless in the moonlight hours. This book will make an interesting and distinctive gift for your loved ones – please see the testimonials at the bottom of this page.

Signed copies of the book are just $25 each ~ Special price: two copies for $40, or three copies for $55
